• MURI award from DOD

  Professor Panagiotis Tsiotras has been selected as the recipient of one of this year's MURI (Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative) awards from the Department of Defense (ARO) for the proposal "Neuro-Inspired Adaptive Perception and Control for Agile Mobility of Autonomous Vehicles in Uncertain and Hostile Environments."

  The total budget for this award is $6.25M for five years. In addition to Georgia Tech, the MURI team consists of researchers from MIT and the University of Southern California. For more detailed information click here.

   

• ONR research project on Science of Autonomy

  The title of the project is "A Framework for Bounded Rationality Autonomy Using Neuromorphic Decision and Action Models," totaling $1.7M over four years. In addition to Georgia Tech, the research team consists of researchers from UCLA and the University of Southern California.

  Nuno Filipe wins the best student paper award in the AIAA Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference held in Boston, MA from August 19--22, 2013.
